The Peak District has been celebrated by Google today with a dedicated doodle, as we’re sure many of you will have seen when you logged onto the internet today.
The Peak District became Britain’s first ever national park On April 17 1951 when it was recognised as an area of national importance.
Seen as Easter weekend is upon us and the spring is in the air, it’s the perfect time to visit and see just how beautiful it is for yourselves!
Happy Birthday Peak District!
