It comes down to three things: the type of drysuit you wear, the water temperature, and how much you feel the cold. All Weezle undersuits use the same high-performance fibres. The difference is how much of it there is.

Diving UK waters in a tri-laminate suit? Start with the Extreme. If you're often in very cold water or spending a long time on deco, step up to the Extreme Plus. Common questions
What should I wear under a drysuit?
Usually two layers: a thin base layer against the skin to move sweat away, then an undersuit on top to do the insulating. The drysuit keeps the water out; the undersuit keeps the warmth in. A drysuit on its own does very little to keep you warm.
Which undersuit do I need for UK diving?
In a tri-laminate drysuit, the Extreme covers most UK diving through the year. For winter, cold inland sites or long decompression stops, go to the Extreme Plus. If you dive in a neoprene drysuit, choose the Compact.
Can I wear a Weezle under a neoprene drysuit?
Yes. The Compact is designed for neoprene drysuits, which give some insulation of their own. The Extreme and Extreme Plus are designed for tri-laminate (membrane) drysuits. If you're moving from neoprene to a membrane suit, expect to need more warmth underneath than you're used to.
Are Weezle undersuits made in the UK?
Yes. Every Weezle undersuit is made in the UK, as it has been for over 30 years.
