The bivvi bag is short for bivouac, a French term meaning 'temporary encampment.' You can use it alone for lightweight summer races or pair it with an Adventure Race Sleeping System for harbour areas and longer excursions all year round. The SF Bivvi Bag WGTE can protect against bad weather in emergencies and is helpful if you're stuck in less-than-ideal circumstances. 

The Snugpak SF Bivvi Bag WGTE is made of a special fabric called Paratex Dry. This fabric allows moisture to escape, keeping you warm, dry and comfortable.

Snugpak Bivvi Bags come in standard and extra-long sizes. They can be used with 4-season or Expedition (Polar)-based sleeping bags and the Special Forces System. 

Please Note: Snugpak Bivvi Bags have a solid coating, and although designed to be breathable, sufficient air cannot pass through the fabric to sustain breathing. To prevent suffocation, do not seal any Bivvi Bag system completely.
